After the first version of my QR Code Generator, I realized there was so much more users could do with their QR codes. Version 1.0 let you change colors, but it had limited error correction and basic export options. For v2.0, I rebuilt the app completely, making it more powerful, flexible, and user-friendly.

Now, you can generate QR codes with full control over error correction—choose from L, M, Q, or H depending on whether you want maximum capacity or maximum durability. Colors are still customizable, but you also get advanced options for both foreground and background, with easy-to-use color pickers or manual input.

One of the biggest improvements is in exporting your QR code. You can now save it not only as SVG, but also as PNG, JPG, or PDF, with adjustable resolution for high-quality prints or digital use. You can even tweak the JPG quality with clear presets, from “Lowest” to “Best,” to balance file size and sharpness.

Under the hood, the app uses modern React and TypeScript, along with tools like jsPDF for PDF export, ensuring everything runs smoothly in the browser. While the code got a complete overhaul, the goal for v2.0 was simple: give users more control, better output, and a smoother experience.
